Pictures of Sophie, Benjamin and Oliver

It's been a while since I posted pics of the kids. We've been crazy busy with homeschooling and classes and groups and stuff.

Sophie is 6 and just lost her first tooth (she's trying to show off her gap in the second picture). Benjamin is 3, has more energy than should be legal in one person, and is just about as unphotogenic as they come. If there's a camera pointed at him, he usually makes a goofy face. These 2 pictures aren't too bad. Oliver is 6 months now and is an absolute joy. He's VERY happy and laid back - wouldn't have expected it based on his first few colicky months of life, but I've been pleasantly surprised. :) He's crawling and starting to pull himself up to standing now. I was REEEEALLY hoping he'd be a late walker like the other 2, but that's not going to happen. SIGH!

Life is fun.

I love the picture of Benjamin with his tongue out eating the snowflakes. He sure looks like he's enjoying the snow. Of course, they have enough clothes on I'm sure they didn't feel any cold. Our little Sophie is getting so big. What a sweet big sister she is!

lmcal: If you could post a pic when you have one that would be great! If too much trouble, let me know what you think. I'm trigger shy to paint another color for fear of picking another bad color! After comparing my samples of Spanish Olive with my cabinets last night, Im really leaning towards that one but just need an extra push to do it I guess -- I'm hoping for feedback from people who have used it.

SW green color similiar to BM Baby Turtle or Olive Branch?

I wanted to like Baby Turtle, but it didn't look right in our new house. We used SW Svelte Sage and Grassland (same strip) in the last house and loved them both. I think the Grassland stays "sagier" while the SS seems a little cooler (if that makes sense--at least at my place)--they both played well with smokey gray, which is what we needed it to do. In the new house, the lovely green that won out was SW Avenue Tan (not tan at all to me--reminded me very much of Grassland and in some light, what I'd hoped Baby Turtle would be). One shade darker is Fenland. We ended up using a LOT of Avenue Tan throughout the house. For the outside of the house, we tried Fenland (still looking for an earthy green), but it went too brown on us. After many test samples, we found BM Cheyenne Green and Texas Sage stayed the truest "sage". All our paints were mixed up in Sherwin-Williams paint. Good luck.

hi nutmegxo - I was wondering what you ended up picking. I had a post about bm boardwalk that you responded to recently and I am still searching! I had a whole wall painted to see if that helped me decide. I do like the color in my room, somehow it's warm but not too orangey. But now my concern is that it may be too close in color to my furniture(caramel and brown). I don't know if curtains , a rug and pictures will add enough of other colors. Someone suggested that I consider some blues but I like greens better. I did like cheyenne green and just picked up a sample. I saw pictures of bm baby turtle on this site that looked great but I did not like it in my room. It was too dark and looked very different in my house. I find selecting paint colors to be soooo difficult!

They are all so sweet. Sophie's hair has the prettiest shine. She and Benjamin look so much older.

Is Benjamin learning to write with his toes? It looks like a pen between them. LOL!

That baby is too adorable. He sure looks like a happy little guy.

LOL Patti! I think he was practising picking things up with his toes.... wouldn't surprise me if he was trying to write, though - he's a strange little duck.

Where does the time go? I can still remember the first baby pics of Sophie and how I enjoyed saving them. :)

You've got to be the best mom, Nicole; your kids are very lucky to have you and Claude.

Nicole, They are all looking wonderful! They are the perfect picture of health and happiness.

These sure are the busy years for you. I love the memories of those years when the kids were so busy thinking of the next thing to do that it was hard to keep up with them.
