It might be versailles, Walker Zangers versailles pattern is 9 tiles, as was the Loire pattern. Probably varies from different tile companies.
Whatever it is, it's gorgeous! Also, seeing this photo reassures me of my decision to go topless. And that backsplash is fabulous. I had no plans for a backsplash, but this might change my mind. Are you doing that type of floor? Is it slate?

I looked and just don't see anything like it. Maybe the tile store or the particular installer made it up. Where did the photo come from? Maybe that would help track it down.

unfortunately I havent been able to track down the origin of this photo. This is exactly what we would like to do the floor in our Kitchen. I have asked around and it seems like most places I have asked agree that it is slate. I have found a few places where I am able to get it, the issue is that some places only have two sizes, so there would be a lot of cutting. We would prefer to do this pattern, but if we cant figure it out, we may just do versailles or similar. I guess we want teh people laying down to be able to do it without screwing it up also.

It looks like pattern 32 on this page to me. You can follow a straight line with the 'occasional' small bump out and also has the diagonal look to it as well.
