Calling white kitchen owners for ideas of wall colors

I have a white kitchen and must decide on paint for surrounding rooms this weekend. I will not admit to how much time I have spent on going over paint chips, or magazines, trips to the paint store, or even internet searches.... and I know I am going to end up with a neutral paint. I can use two shades, maybe 3, but rooms all flow into one another. I am planning to redecorate and have to choose paint before furniture. Now it is pretty much a blank slate. Floors will be provential minwax stain on white oak hardwood. (a sort of med brownish color) I was planning on a blue/green backsplash or paint for the kitchen, but since I am having such a difficult time to match up with that color/style, I will start with neutral. I do not care for the taupe color. I am going for fresh, warm, and light, but not bright. My house faces North in the North and there is quite a bit of light. I love the color blue and grey, but again, looking for some warmth.

Any ideas?
