In addition to regular vacuuming and spot cleaning as needed, for the last almost ten years I've gone over the whole thing with bucket and towel about twice a year.

On my hands and knees, I use a diluted solution of Mr. Clean or Soilex. I clean our 16-inch porcelain tiles individually. Although the grout is sealed, I avoid getting dirty water on the grout lines. Rinse with a plain water-wet towel and dry. Gardening type knee pads are very helpful!

We have porcelain tiles in entry, family room, kitchen, and two bathrooms. Not all tile is wet cleaned at one time. LOL

That's about right. All you should usually need is plain clear hot water. EVery once in a while it won't hurt to use a mild detergient. Another one to add to teedup's list is oxyclean. It does a terrific job cleaning grout, as well.

I don't think that will hurt it, it just won't clean any better.

Vinegar is too acidic, and will attack your grout [unless it's epoxy].

The great thing about porcelain is that you don't need much to get it clean because nothing stains it or sticks to it.

Pity the same isn't true of grout...

Grout is something I really don't like. Since we put in the porcelain tiles, I find myself examining everyone's tiles to see what is going on with their grout,lol
