Is it ok to mix styles of cabinets?

I really like the look of inset cabinets. Would it look good to put inset on the lower cabinets and framed or frameless on the uppers?

Most of the lower are drawers minus the simk cabinet. I have plenty of lower storage so I can afford to lose a little size to the inset.

My uppers are about 18 or 19 inches wide (each door), that measurment includes the frames... hope that makes sense. I am thinking that might be a little narrow for inset. Or is it??? And if it is, would you mix a framed or frameless on the uppers?

Another opinion needed... I have not decided on a design inspiration yet, other than I won't be doing contemporary. I do like the inset cabinets. It seems the cabinet makers refer to the inset as shaker or craftsmen. I tend to think I am more a casual traditional gal. Maybe they won't go with the style of my house. I do have arched doorway into the kitchen which isn't shaker or craftsmen. Would that be mixing things up to much?
