We have the Dickinson and have been very happy with it. But, Johnliu really did say it best. After drooling over the Rohl I realized I didn't want to shred my nerves over a sink or anything else anymore. I've seen 30 year old cast iron sinks that lived in households with 5 kids and they looked fine. DH all by himself can be the equivalent of 5 kids in the kitchen so I figured I was okay with the Dickinson. Bottom line, I guess, is "know thyself" (as well as the habits of others who will use the sink) and choose accordingly.

I’ve had a 30” Shaw at a second home for 10 years and still love it but decided on the 33” Kohler Whitehaven for our new kitchen reno at home - it was such a price difference and looked so similar. I actually like it better! I especially like the slight slant of the bottom to the offset drain. Much easier to rinse scraps into the disposal. It’s still new but it does seems like the Kohler finish is easier to keep clean. We removed the Kohler logo (which was crooked anyway) so it’s just all white and looks great!

Hi. Has anyone ordered a Shaw Farmhouse sink and the size has differed from the actual measurement? I have already placed the order for my cabinets and I ordered a 33" sink base for a apron sink. I was told by the plumbing supply showroom that the sink should have been ordered first as they can very plus or minus 2%. I was hoping to oder a 30 inch wide sink. Did you order your sink first? How much was the measurement off? Also, now I have seen on some of these forms that these sinks are not holding up very well. Any other sink recommendations?

I'm using the Moen Level faucet. It is nstalled at the center of my sink and reaches the offset drain just fine. I realize this faucet is totally different from your desired faucet but I just posted to show you that a faucet with a different shape can reach the drain just fine.
