Catherine, you can either a) copy the link address of the post at the top of your browser (starts with http) and paste it into the "Optional Link URL" box below the "Message" box here at GW (and be sure to type a description of the link in the "Name of the Link" box, i.e., Joyce's lotus pond); or b) (a more complicated version, but you can put more than one clickable link in each post) copy that same link address (i.e., for this post, it would be http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/ponds/gal050849544331.html?1) and paste it into the "Message" box. To make it a clickable link, the link would look like this - Posting pictures - questions and answers - without the spaces after the two Done without spaces - Posting pictures - questions and answers Hope that makes sense! Wow! What a wonderful picture! To be that close!! I am nervous about this dispatching business. I have lost nests with eggs every year. I always thought it was a cat, until I started doing some research on here.... I have many pairs of bluebirds that come to my feeder for mealworms, but they are beaten out of the housing market every day by the sparrows. I saw in the one post that someone recommended to you to set your trap at dusk, so I just went out there and pulled some of the nest thru the hole, so it looked disturbed. The sparrows come and sit on top, but they haven't gone in. It's only been a couple hours, though. I don't have a mesh laundry bag. I don't know what I'm going to do. I will have to be ready. Can you believe all we go thru for these bluebirds!

Well, first off you need to be able to put your pictures on the world wide web. You can post them on one of the photo hosting sites, or if you have one, your own web site. If you have only a picture or two, you can upload them to the GardenWeb Gallery. Once you have pictures on the web, you can then copy the link that appears in the address box and paste it into the "Optional Link URL:" that will show up on the second page of the form that you use to start a new thread. If you are on a photo hosting site, you have to do something to make the pictures public, so we can see them without logging in. Fantastic, Iowagirl! I am so impressed that you and Maire have come up with these links. The Gilberts were in the US before 1890 (date of advertisement I think), but apparently they had a mill, so they could be part of the John A. Gilbert family in England. This is so helpful, and I look forward to sharing it with my friends. I think I'll post the pictures and the flyer over on Antiques Forum to see if I can pick up any further info. Thank you!
