Mine has the name Luna Pearl (also known as: Bianco Sardo).
I have stained Maple cabinets, a ss sink, & granite edge is bullnose. I like seeing this granite in your kitchen with the white cabinets, & a straight edge. What are your plans for a backsplash? I can not wait to see more pictures! It's looking so beautiful!

Hi Laurie, yes, I think they are the same. Funny isn't it, how one granite can have so many names! I want the kitchen to be somewhat transitional, but not too modern. That's why I choose a clean, straight edge. Backsplash will be a bevelled subway tile (traditional), perhaps with a little (modern) addition. All will be revealed in the new year.

It looks so great! I love how it has the modern edge to it, while it still suits the homey traditional look with the apron sink, brick, white beadboard, and the glass front uppers.

Looks great! I've got the Domsjo double bowl sink and I am so looking forward to when it can get off my dining room floor and installed in the kitchen.

@ sjmitch Hi, the sink is by Ikea, the single bowl apron front Domsjo. There is also a double bowl apron front and a smaller drop-in without the apron front, all called Domsjo. At the moment it is not featured on the Ikea US website, but that site is hardly ever complete :-(

Here the Domsjo is topmounted, because it sits right in the corner, but Brickmanhouse did a fabulous undermount, see the link.

Will the subway backsplash be white or gray or black or?
Is that a black toe kick I see under your cabinets or is that a shadow? Are you keeping the tile floor or making any changes there?

Hi Laurie, subway tile will be white with a little surprise added. No toekick yet, will be white. Tile floor will stay, it's a glazed terracotta tile with underfloor heating. Even though we live in southern Spain, the winters can get quite nippy when living at 2300 feet (700 mtrs) :-)

Underfloor heating sounds luxurious! Wish I had that..and I live in an area with very mild winters.
