surviving the in=between time--temporary kitchen

We are getting ready for removal of the old and installation of the new. I am starting to empty my cabinets...amazing how much junk and dreck I've been saving for 10+ years.

My contractor estimates 3 weeks to remove , install and get the counters so I am wondering what is needed to survive this time?

I have a microwave, crock pot and toaster oven to use in the dining room (separate room from EIK), will stock up on paper goods, the fridge can stay plugged in, and I have a laundry room sink for washing food and dishes.

I am sure we will have lots of take out dinner, but in addition, what did you/do you use in your 'temporary' kitchen while the renovation is going on? I hope I can survive without my dishwasher! Well, I mean the mechanical d/w...
