Here's a photo of the hinge. The good one. There's a similar bad one. at the bottom of the cabinet door.

Have you tried showing the hinge to a local cabinet maker, wood worker, or hardware store manager? They might recognize that little logo.

Replacing the hinge won't help if the problem is the cabinet door. YOu need to remove the hinge, drill out the screw hole wider, insert doweling with glue, allow to dry, and then redrill for the screw for the current hinge. Using a slightly longer screw will make it more secure.

We don't really know which screw hole is the problem. If it's the adjustment screw hole that's stripped, then Legionaire will need a new hinge.

legionnaire - if you are still around I'd like to know if you resolved your hinge issue and with what. I have the same exact hinge and need to replace it.

Thanks salex - my contractor tried a blume hinge that didn't fit - I will have to check and see which one it was.
