Due to a flood, we are replacing floors in bathroom, kitchen and family rooms. The old floors are out, but with the holidays and ordering materials and changing some kitchen cabinets, it will be weeks before the new floors go down. There is white dust all over the slab from the tile demo that is getting tracked all over the house. I have tried vacuuming and wiping the slab but the white dust seems to just seep back out. Has anyone here used something like a water-based poly on concrete, just to keep the dust down? Would that keep the tile adhesive from bonding correctly later on?
