Here's a quick list off the top of my head: petunias, dahlias, sunflowers, smaller roses, marigolds, lavender, verbena, lilies, geranium, calibrachoa. It would help if I knew if you wanted annuals or perennials, and what look you are going for. Best advice is just to peruse Home Depot and see what they have on hand

I'm very very grateful. As many know, I've been working on this for 3 years. No KD, no designer ('cept our GW'er designers), everything I bought piecemeal and held on to it for over a year. Much work we did on our own or GC'd it. DH was hands on even with the work we hired out like electrical. I had the picture in my head of what it would look like and walked through against blank broken down walls how it would function. I"ve been living out of suitcases going back and forth between my house and this house for work. So I really didn't know how it would turn out. DH couldn't picture it and just had to trust me. Hopefully Florida JOshua comes on Monday to install the soapstone and then the sink can get hooked up and DW. I then have a REAL functioning kitchen. The other day I sold the massive wall unit from my home. The dining room set is already down here. My son's room is empty except for the bed on the floor since he moved to NY almost a year ago. It no longer feels like the home I raised my boys in. I stayed there myself Thursday night and it was weird. Felt like a house; but not a home. All the walls are empty and light switch plates off since my son painted for me when he came for a visit. I'm ready to move on to the next phase of my life. This remodel represents alot to me... :-)

I did a "Google" search instead of searching using the GW-provided search engine. http://www.google.com/ In this case, I think I used the following search criteria: catsam site:ths.gardenweb.com/forums/load/kitchbath I don't always put the "/forums/load/kitchbath" in the site b/c I've found that sometimes it doesn't work...I don't know why, but it doesn't. I usually try it first, though, b/c it eliminates all threads not on the Kitchens Forum (Discussions/Conversations/Gallery). If I can't find what I'm looking for, then I change the site specification to "ths.gardenweb.com" and try again. However, there is no guarantee you will find a missing thread that way...it's just another tool to use to try, though.

My favorite nursery is Daisy White in Mt. Sinai. Take 347 East until you get to Mt. Sinai Coram Road; turn left, heading north. Take this to it's end, turn right onto North Country Road. They are about 3/4 of a mile down on the left side. (If you know where Mt. Sinai HS is, they are just east of that a short way.) I don't know for sure if they have bleeding heart, but give them a call. It's a gorgeous place, and the quality of the plants is excellent.
