Nobody will make a decision on whether or not to buy based on faucet. So no need to overthink it!

I agree with Fori. But if you do decide on a wall-mount faucet with sprayer, there are a few manufacturers that make one. One is Chicago Faucets, but they are really tall professional faucets. The other is Herbeau (the "De Dion" model and "Estelle" model), but they are $$$.

If you are doing a "quick redo", why are you doing a wall-mount faucet? They're very nice, but they tend to be more money, and a more difficult installation. Also, if there are problems down the road, it's harder to repair them if you have to go behind the wall to do so. Are you considering a wall-mount because that's what is there already?

Ditto---plus there are people like me who really don't like sprayers. We aren't putting one in our kitchen (though you can certainly do them with wall-mount faucets without too much difficulty---so people could always add it).

If you're just fixing it up to sell, I'd only do tuning up and cosmetic things. The previous owner of ours tried to
"fix" a dated kitchen by putting granite counters and a new sink and backsplash on failing cabinetry---worst possible thing to do, since it added to the costs of actually fixing it considerably. I very much wish she'd just left the old laminate counters, which would have been perfectly serviceable until we were ready to remodel. Fix the things that really aren't working, give it some fresh paint, and price the home accordingly.

My sink work would be miserable with out a sprayer. There are very few wall mount faucets with a sprayer. The stylish ones were either an unknown brand or very expensive. I choose Chicago faucets. I changed the 8'' curved spout to to a 12'' flat style to get the water in the center of the sink and cut down on splashing.

Thanks for the feed back. The reason for a wall mount was that it is handsome and would add some period style to the kitchen. This is a 1920's house in a high end summer resort, so people expect style.

I've already cleared out and painted the entire house, so it's fresh and clean. Everybody who walks through says it's charming, but needs work because the bathrooms are dated, the kitchen needs redoing and the house lacks central A/C. Nobody can figure out how to make the kitchen over. It has very little counter space and is awkwardly laid out. I'm considering removing what's there this week - giving the existing appliances to Habitat's Restore, flipping the layout which would make it more functional, putting in some new, ready made solid wood cabinets and an island, stainless appliances and granite counter tops, plus some school house lights. Basically staging it for sale.

Honestly, whoever buys the house will probably tear everything out and redo it as part of expanding the house. I just need to show potential buyers what can be done because so far people are stumped. This way people could see that they would have a nice looking, functional kitchen to use while deciding what to do with the house. The house is already priced a million less than it's neighbors. It's a solid house in a nice area. It's just old fashioned.

Post in this thread again showing your layout constraints. Doors, windows, etc. I'm sure you will get ideas for layouts and wallmount faucets.
