3 years planning, 2 years install...Done - DIY Natural Cherry Kit

We moved our kitchen to a mostly unused room so the old kitchen worked right up to when the new kitchem came online. Its over schedule and took a lot more time and energy than I budgeted. The hardest and most time consuming was the design. But its done (mostly).

Cabinets

Bought 1/2 cabs and made other half (its really not very hard)

The ones over the range are 15" deep.

Ones flanking range are 30" deep.

Bought all doors and most drawer fronts over web

I used select natural cherry full overlay cabs.

Blum full extension with soft close on most drawers

Accuraide 200 pound full extension side mounts on the big drawers

Blum pistons on the doors so they cannot slam (very nice gadget)

Top

Juperana super classico

Backsplash

Travertine in versaille pattern

Floor

New Oak with 4 coats Bona traffix

Sinks

Undermount. Both purchased off web, both single bowl, 1 extra large 18 gauge, small is 16 gauge.

Faucets:

Grohe

Range

1/2 price GE convection

Hood

Dacor with remote fantach fan, very quiet and powerful. Got it for 35 bucks at a RE store
