12.6 lb. turkey cooked in two hours!

I had only done a test run with chicken parts on the Convection roast option on our Samsung Induction range using the broiler pan. Wow. The turkey cooked in two hours, plus the skin was nicely browned.

I had only previously used disposable roasting pans, oven bags, etc. in our old coiltop electric.

The oven really didn't get dirty either. I thought there would be lots of splatter. I think I will try the steam clean feature.

I'm not a huge fan of turkey, but it's DH's favorite along with our little elderly kitty. It's his favorite day of the whole year!

Here he is "guarding" the turkey, LOL.
