A spray at a prep sink is a must!! As others have said, the spray function is so useful at any sink, especially a prep sink...no matter what size the sink, too! Not only is it useful for rinsing the sink and food, but it's also very useful for filling pots, measuring cups, etc. on the counter next to the sink. I put a pullout faucet on my prep sink and a pull down at the main sink. First, I like having one of each as they both have pros & cons...and the cons of one are made up for in the pros of the other. To me, it's the best of both worlds. I like the pullout at my prep sink since I fill more pots, etc. on the counter next to it than I do inside the sink or at the main/cleanup sink. Second, my prep sink is rather small (15-3/4" square) and I was afraid the pull downs would overwhelm it. Function over Form in this case is very important if you plan to use the sink! Good luck!

Wy not just use another Talis S? I put one on each of my sinks. The spray head is invisible, but you get all the benefits of a spray without the side unit. I would seriously miss having a sprayer on my second sink. Heck, I even miss a sprayer on the bathroom sinks when I'm cleaning!

Nice Olychick :) I have always loved your vanity and used it as my inspiration. Janelor, I have some clear square and rectangle containers that, contain :) I have liked using the tubs for different thinks. On the left side under the narrow pull out I have cleaning supplies. They just fit under there. On the right side under the narrow pullout I have various other odds and end. In the front I have a long refrigerator container that is about 3" x 14" or something, it fits across the back to take up the depth of the other containers. I leave the center low and store my cleaning rags. The front area between the 2 containers, and in front of the drain, I store a roll of paper towels, upright. In my right narrow upper tray I store my hair dryer, brush, and hair spray. In the Left upper I store odds and ends, light extra toothpaste, mouth wash, hand lotion. And I keep the hand lotion right there at the entry so I can open the door and pump directly into my hand. I don't keep it on the counter. I do have a soap pump installed in my counter so the left upper drawer needs to be kept neat at the back or the contents can bump into my soap reservoir at the back, where it hangs down from under the counter pump. I love it. Olychick has a very nice pull out setup. I think she would post a link to her reveal. Or you can do a search for her reveal, maybe in 2012 or 2011, in GW.

I lived without a spray for almost one year- it's feasible. My sponges never get remotely gross, though, so wiping down the sink with a soapy sponge and then rinsing off with the same rinsed though sponge was not a big issue. I missed the spray the most when washing fruits and vegetables. I am back to having a side spray (Dornbracht Meta) and it's quite nice. If you can afford the splurge, go for it. If not, it's really not the end of the world, but do keep your sponge immaculately clean. Use the hottest of water and always rinse out the sponge with hot soapy water until it is clean. Let it air dry and replace it every other week- also pop it into the dw every few days.
