Will cork flooring become dated?

I'm still considering cork planks, even though I've been told that it won't hold up to my pets. I just love the way it looks and I'm holding out hope that the harder version will stand up to my dogs.

However, I've been wondering if it'll look dated 10 years from now, or at some point down the road. It's a very specific look, and the last thing I want is to try and sell this house a decade down the road and have people turn their noeses up at my cork floors because they aren't "in" anymore and the look is outdated.

I know it's impossible to know for sure what will happen in the future, but I'd love some opinions anyway.
