tung oil citrus solvent treatment and mineral oil and wax

We've been doing lots of research on treatments for wood countertops. Realize many here like waterlox, but we are still considering 100% tongue oil thinned w/citrus solvent and mineral oil, or mineral oil mixed w/wax. Have read some older threads here w/people who ended up doing one of these last 2 methods, and a few who've posted more recently. Anyone have pictures to show of countertop that you've treated with 100% tongue oil or mineral oil over at least a few years, or able to share the amount of work you've put into the countertops over years? Especially interested in those with cherry countertop and/or a busy household where maintenance cannot be too heavy - and yes, we realize we may in the end need to go w/waterlox, or a similar product. Thanks for any photos and advice.
