Well ladies, the too good to be true price really was too good to be true. My shipment arrived today. A flat package that weighed 2 lbs. Yeah, it's a Blanco stainless steel 2.0 sink grid. This grid wouldn't even fit the 1.75 sink I ordered. Anyway, I immediately called and, although they were very nice, the bottom line is they offered me the $460 something sink for about $350 claiming that was the wholesale, zero profit margin, price for them. I said no thank you. They are processing a full refund and told me I can keep the sink grid to not have to go to the hassle of returning it. The customer service rep tried to be helpful, and when I questioned why they wouldn't honor their price, she sent me over to a customer service manager. He was also very nice, but wouldn't sell me the sink for $70. I'm not too upset as the sink was for our basement remodel that we haven't even started yet. I jumped on the price because it was an amazing deal. My first purchase from Wayfair. Browsing through their website, I think their prices are more expensive than other places on the web, so I probably won't make any other purchases there. For all of you who ordered the sink, be prepared to call and get a refund, because you won't be getting a sink. And if by some chance someone DOES get a sink, please let us all know so we can get the same deal. Thanks MMM for telling us about it. No hard feelings there - I was happy to try for the deal!

Baquinn, I have a different Blanco sink, but it was large too. I have the equal double bowl undermount Performa (33 by 20 and 10 inches deep). Fortunately, my GC caught the specs and so we were able to ammend the plans prior to fabrication of the cabinet and counter. We did pull the sink base cabinet forward. Initially this was supposed to be a straight counter edge, but you can see the curve we put in to accommodate the sink. I am happy we did. I really like my big sinks. The larger sinks are another favorite thing about my renovation. I hand wash a lot of items, so this sink has made the job so much easier. On another note, everybody's renovations have their fair share of setbacks and frustrations. It's never smooth sailing. It's definitely a process and it will be complete one day and you will really enjoy it! If a large sink is a priority for you, don't settle on a smaller one just for time. There will be more than one hiccup and you want to have the kitchen you really want because you are the one who will be living with whatever decisions you come to. Hang in there!

I just ordered the precis cascade from Quality Bath. I just didn't really like the shape of the Performa. I took the largest pot I have and put it in my current sink, measured the depth and width of my bowls, etc. I decided that the smaller version would work fine for me because I'm getting a bigger bowl than my 50/50 provides now and the depth will be about the same. Also, I considered the space below for the disposal. With the 10" deep, my disposal would sit almost to the bottom of the cabinet. My kitchen is so small; that storage below is very important to me. I got my sink Saturday and dropped it at the fabricators. I didn't take any photos, but I did save the colander here. It's pretty shallow, but I think it will still be fine to rinse some grapes or dry a coffee mug, etc. I can measure it if you want. The usable space definitely seemed shallower than I expected because I didn't figure in that the top part of it is open (as opposed to mesh).

The Rachiele sink is out of the OP's price range. Regarding non-custom sinks with drainboards like the Ticor and Ruvati sinks in your other thread, I simply would never get such a sink. Have you truly considered the interior dimensions of their 16"x17" bowl? It's small. To illustrate, take a large piece of paper, or cardboard, or any piece of paper that measures 16"x17". When you see that cutout you will see how small it is - do you use roasting pans, cookie sheets, or make soup, chili, spaghetti sauce in a dutch oven or large saucepan? Will those fit in the bowl of your drainboard sink? Meanwhile you are foregoing precious counter space for a permanent sheet of stainless steel that will always look scratched and gunky from drippings and water marks. Don't think that the smooth shine you see in the pic is what your drainboard will look like. Have you had a stainless steel sink before? If so, did it look smooth and shiny like in the Ruvati sink photo? Instead of the integrated drainbard, just get a good sized single-bowl sink for your 33" cabinet, and put a dish towel on the counter to let things dry. Whisk away the dish towel and voila, you'll have pretty counter space that you can also use.
