While I see you cited the lighter Silgranit colors, I still look at this as a bit of a bait-and-switch from Wayfair. If you choose one of the popular dark colors on the pull-down menu to place your order, several hundred dollars are added to that $70 price. So, for anthracite, add $382.30 to the $70 price (total $452). If you want Cafe Brown, add a whopping $645.30 to the $70 price (total $715). This sink in Cafe Brown is sold by other well-rated websites in the $400-460 range.

I know you are trying to help people by letting them know about an unusually low price for a Silgranit sink. As you note, the only colors the $70 works on are the lighter ones, which are Biscotti, Biscuit and Truffle. But Biscotti and Biscuit are shown on the page as "Low Stock". I wouldn't risk buying those, cause it might mean the sinks are actually not in stock. I would rather order from a website where I am certain the items are in stock, and, I have to wonder how Wayfair could sell Blanco sinks at such an astonishingly low price of $70.

akchicago- I didn't think it through thoroughly and just happened to be looking at sinks, and the price seemed incredibly low, so I thought I would share. I suppose if someone was interested in the lighter colors, they could call and ask if they were, indeed, in stock. I have no idea why the price is so low, or how they could pull it off, but I'm assuming that since they have such a high markup on the more popular colors, that they can stand to lose a few $$ to push slow moving stock.

If you can use white, biscotti, biscuit or truffle, it's a killer deal.

Well, just ordered a truffle one, it's the color I've loved from the start and one of the 3 I was considering. Paid via PayPal, so hopefully if there are problems I can get things settled.

Wish me luck! It's either the best deal I'll get for the kitchen or the start of a nightmarish saga, lol.

Wayfair is a very reputable site that has awesome deals all the time. If I needed one, I would jump on this deal. I got a high end high chair from them for a low price. It shipped fast and arrived in perfect condition.

I would like to go on record and say that I would appreciate not being held responsible if any nightmarish scenarios should happen. Hopefully everyone gets their new sinks quickly and without issue, and for a steal of a deal.

I just got finished ordering one in Biscuit!!! The thing is, I would have ordered it a long time ago at full price but I did not realize it was reversible. My small sink side is on the left and I thought I was out of luck. Wayfair had a spec sheet link and it says it's reversible so thank goodness it will work for me. When I was looking at this sink before I even asked about that at a store and they never told me that was possible. Being a complete novice I didn't look for myself. I will have to rearrange my plumbing lines to accommodate the drain configuration but I would have to hire a plumber anyway to hook it up. Thank you so much again, I'm thrilled to get this sink for this price and even if it doesn't work for some crazy reason I'm not out too terribly much and shipping was free and no tax either. OMG, thank you so much again. Just think you have now sold 2 sinks just in a few minutes!!! Williamsen, I also paid with paypal. I recall reading someone was told to swish some flour around inside to see if there are any cracks, can anyone confirm or am I getting confused with something else? I won't install until May, so it will be living in the great room with our new hood for a while!

Wayfair is a very reputable company. Sure some of their stuff is very high and other things are amazingly priced with low or no shipping. I've ordered several things from them over the last couple of years-directly and through other sites like Amazon and Wal Mart, and I've never had a problem. Good luck on the sinks!

I wanted to add that their computer inventory system is actually quite precise. If they say 8 in stock, they really do have 8. There are many iffy sites but Wayfair is not one of them

Ok williamsem I'll let you know when it gets here. Good to know about the flour test. I hope it will never crack!!! That has been the only negative I can see from reading online and it does concern me somewhat. The only other thing is that we will have to buy two drain sets. That could add another $100 give or take a few dollars. I'll wait till it gets here to worry about that. At first I wasn't a fan of them, thought they looked like fiberglass laundry sinks but after hearing how much people love them and everyone almost to a person says they would buy it again, I thought it would be a good get. We'll compare notes when they go in. I am not sure when I'll be installing since I have to pick the granite first. It's going to be probably May as well by the time I get myself together with that, lol.

SaraKat- I'll admit that I'm not a huge fan of them either, but made the mistake of taking DH to the home show in Indy yesterday. I was talking to a custom door vendor while DH was happily playing with the sink in the cabinet display beside us. He really likes them and thinks that would be two less decisions that I would have to make. Admittedly, if they had a single for $70, I would buy it, just because I like good deals and I'm cheap like that. You can't even get a decent stainless sink for that.

Mrs.M. Yes, there is danger in taking husband to the home show, that is for sure or even asking their opinion can be tricky! I am thinking if I don't think it's my cup of tea, no harm no foul. I am sure I can find someone who would appreciate it. It looks like a nice sink! Of course have been up since 4:44 yes as opposed to 4:45 : ) worrying about if the 10 inch deep small side will allow for my waste disposal to fit underneath. Oh well, as Scarlett says, I'll worry about that tomorrow. I love a good deal too and a good deal can always influence my love instinct.

The truffle is gorgeous, but we don't have any browns in our house. Blue, gray and whites are us. Does this truffle go with gray, does anyone know? It shows a picture of it in a marble counter and it's very pretty.

BTW, how did you find out about that price? When I just went to the Wayfair website, it never showed that deal. I'd love to stalk them to see if a single ever went on sale like that but I don't know how you can tell the great prices if they are hidden.

lovetodream- I think I just went to Wayfair looking at Kohler sinks, and then my cheap nature always leads me to select price:low to high. My dream sink wasn't on the first page lol.

I am on the fence about buying two (as we haven't chosen granite yet but this seems like too good of a deal to miss!). When you put them in the cart and see, "You saved: $1250.00 (90%)" it's hard to pass up!

At $70 I'm guessing people are just taking their chances. Sometimes you have to roll the dice to get a great deal.

Wayfair has great customer service. I've had an issue before with some furniture & they were prompt to refund me. If there is any issue with my sink, I will contact Wayfair directly.

I got the biscuit one! My first house purchase. I'm guessing these dont come with the strainers. Anyone found an awesome deal on those? i see you can get a cutting board to fit too. Any photos of how that works?

Hoping deals like this come around next year when I have the remotest clue what our new build kitchen will look like....sigh. Very happy for everyone getting such a great steal though!

Well ladies, the too good to be true price really was too good to be true. My shipment arrived today. A flat package that weighed 2 lbs. Yeah, it's a Blanco stainless steel 2.0 sink grid. This grid wouldn't even fit the 1.75 sink I ordered. Anyway, I immediately called and, although they were very nice, the bottom line is they offered me the $460 something sink for about $350 claiming that was the wholesale, zero profit margin, price for them. I said no thank you. They are processing a full refund and told me I can keep the sink grid to not have to go to the hassle of returning it. The customer service rep tried to be helpful, and when I questioned why they wouldn't honor their price, she sent me over to a customer service manager. He was also very nice, but wouldn't sell me the sink for $70. I'm not too upset as the sink was for our basement remodel that we haven't even started yet. I jumped on the price because it was an amazing deal. My first purchase from Wayfair. Browsing through their website, I think their prices are more expensive than other places on the web, so I probably won't make any other purchases there.

For all of you who ordered the sink, be prepared to call and get a refund, because you won't be getting a sink. And if by some chance someone DOES get a sink, please let us all know so we can get the same deal.

Wow!! Did you ask them point blank why they sent you a grid when the site specifically said "sink" and showed a picture of said sink with a description of said sink?? Wouldn't that be illegal to purposely send you different product?

They DID sell you the sink, they charged your credit card for it, and then they sent you a different item.
Again, it is the merchant's obligation to honor the sale.

Actually, the merchant is not obligated to honor a "sale" that was a mistake on their web page. Most likely the item numbers got mixed up in a database. An intentional bait and switch would be different issue entirely, but mistakes happen - no sense getting angry about it.

I could believe that it was a mix up if all of that particular style was marked down to $70, but to have only the light colors marked down in a pull down menu with the dark colors seems to be a little questionable.

alice -- not angry here, just trying to play by the rules, and just because a retailer made a mistake does not mean they are "off the hook."

If the retailer did indeed receive and accept payment for an item, and a receipt shows that item, and that payment was rendered and accepted from the retailer for that item, there is an implicit agreement that party A (retailer) will provide the product to party B (consumer) in exchange for the compensation party B has provided.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to gouge anyone here. I own a business and understand the need to be profitable. However if I accept payment from someone for a product then realize that I had made an error in my pricing, I'm the one at fault. The customer has paid me and his/her receipt is our contract.

Oh I didn't buy one, but it's such a downer when a good deal doesn't work out. Sad.
