There are "314 coffee tables on this site" so you might take a quick look and right click and open a new window for the ones you like. Try to do this quickly without thinking about it too much. When you've found a half dozen or so you can look at them and see what there is about each that appeals. Making decisions can be very difficult when we over-think so doing this can sometimes help.

Sounds as if you prefer an eclectic style so there are many ways to go.

Oh, don't even look at the prices as there often are less expensive options with many styles.

If you want a smaller footprint, sometimes it's easier to use two small items like garden stools, drums, Moroccan tray tables, etc.

I would try Overstock, but wait until your sofa is delivered and set up. Be sure to check dimensions and read the online reviews.

Overstock and Home Decorators are both good resources for ottomans (be sure to check the outlet section of HD too), but also check consignment and thrift shops for something more interesting like a trunk, etc...

My favorite small coffee table is a piano bench.

I have a large brass tray, probably 3' in diameter that's on an iron stand from a previous glass top end table~I just couldn't give it up. I'm able to move it around, but it really is usable for anyone sitting on one end of the sofa. I have another tray of the same size and keep hoping i'll find another iron piece similar to the other. Anyway, two trays would be ideal. ;o)

Also, keep in mind that glass visually 'disappears' so you can sometimes do a glass top table in a larger size and it will still not be intrusive. That's what I have in my LR and I like it a lot, with a leather sofa as well.

Running, do you have pets? I would love a glass top table, but worry about the cats. One is 18 lbs!

If you are lucky enough to find an old hard-sided suitcase, you can easily add legs to it (pick them up at a home improvement store). I love eclectic stuff!

Creekylis. .the stacked suitcase has really piqued my interest. . perhaps a stop at Goodwill or a thrift shop is in order.

Cindylou123. . . I'm going to give the piano bench a try with my existing bench. . .never thought of it that way. If it works, perhaps I can pick up another one for the den (or maybe buy an adjustable tufted one for the piano!).
