Here are a few photos of my backsplash. The filigree tiles behind the range top are from a different tile manufacturer. Our perimeter counters are Silestone in Cygnus. The lighting isn't great and they're not quite as blue as the photo suggests. I'm going to have more pictures once I post in the finished kitchen blog and will post a link in this thread. Yes, it's Walker Zanger...anything they make is totally awesome. I love all of their tiles. In another life I will be able to afford it as a kitchen backpslash! They also have a circle version that I was trying to "sell" to Sochi and her modern, lovely kitchen with circle theme. I love Prill's choice too. There are also some Oceanside glass that are gorgeous mosaics with pretty variations and shinyness. Heath Ceramics has some white/creamy tile with a more abstract background.

Hi. We installed out kitchen in 2012. We still haven't chosen or decided on a backslpash - it's the painted wall. I have a creamy Egyptian marble, - don't remember the name. I like unstructured European vintage-y kitchens. Many of them don't have backsplashes either. My stainless range has a stainless backsplash directly behind it. I had picked out some mini-clear glass subway tile for the backsplash that coincidentally matches my Prescott Green paint color perfectly but what if I decide to change wall color one day? Just this week I started thinking maybe I made my backsplash tile decision three years ago which was to have none. Our marble installers tried very hard to discourage us from marble in the kitchen but I have not regretted it. All those kitchens in southern Europe can't be wrong. Thanks so much for all the input, I've changed by mind a dozen thousand times, and now the kitchen cabinet designer suggested a plan I like except I am afraid the Alhambra won't match the cabinets well enough. He suggests the alhambra 4x4 in a diamond shape throughout and then the detailed one (less busy of the 2) in a square under each pair of cabinets�"about 8 in all with one above the oven. I'm wondering if I shouldn't do Sonoma Stellar collection, which would match the cabinets and still the granite and is less rustic; they also have detailed ones in the same color to match, but they take 7 weeks or so to order... thanks so much; my DH (does this mean dear husband?) wants to start asap!!! Thought I'd made my mind up already...!
