Which Rev-A-Shelf should I pick?
Comments (10)I didn't do any research on the brands as my cab maker bought what he has a good track record using for customers. Mine is the first you pictured. Has worked great for 2.5 years. For some reason, the top mounted ones looking so.....ummmm....hang-y to me. Silly to say. It's like they aren't supported. I'm sure they are though. Maybe I'm just used to how securely my cans fit into the metal frame. No tipping or jostling cans, which it seems to me the top mounted ones might experience. Don't know without experience. Anyway, I like mine....See MoreWhat's Up with Rev-a-Shelf?
Comments (12)I just came across the blog and wanted to provide some additional insight. I know that Rev-A-Shelf's customer satisfaction is a priority and that they have been sending out the "New" 448TP Wood Pantries and slides since last month. In short, it might be an issue with whom you are purchasing them from...I would contact Rev-A-Shelf directly for help finding a supplier that has them in stock. As the "NEW" Design it now features their new adjustable rub bushings that provide for more stability and limited side-to-side movement of the product in the cabinet and on the slide. Finally, the image of the Hafele unit is NOT solid wood and if comparing to the 448TP originally discussed you are not comparing Apples to Apples....See MoreWhere to get a better price on Rev-a-shelf, anyone used Ovis?
Comments (10)Thank you very much for the feedback! Sorry it took so long to reply. I wrote a message yesterday and tried to send it. The message went somewhere??? and then my computer froze and wouldn't let me do anything. I just checked out AHTurf and the items I am most interested in are cheaper. Has anyone bought larger, heavy items like lazy susans or had to return anything to either Ovis or AHTurf? Thanks again for the feedback and the new source....See MorePros and Cons : Pull out Vs Swing out Trash Can
Comments (13)There is a true "swing-out " that I have seen but the picture above is not it. It is a case of the can being attached to the door and so it comes out of the cabinet when the door opens. I can't think where I saw this, maybe Ikea? The downside IMO is that you can only have one container coming out -- in a pullout (if you choose) you can have 2 containers in the pullout. The thing that I do like about the 2nd picture is there is a built in lid that doubles as a shelf above the bins. That Rev-a-shelf unit is pricey, though!...See MoreGemcap
