Thanks so much for the input and sharing photos. I'm so at a loss here as to what to do! I've actually considered all the colors mentioned in the thread at one point or another, and it's tough to imagine what it would look like covering your entire house! That's a lot of surface area. I also get so influenced by the name of the color. Does that happen to any of you? For example, if the name of the color has the word "cream" or "ivory" in it, I'll consider it more seriously than if the color has the word "yellow" or "gold", even though the latter might be more of what I'm looking for. Isn't that weird. Ponydoc, I actually really like how vanillin and inviting ivory look in your pictures. I worried that there wouldn't be enough of a contrast between those colors and my trim, but I can see from your pictures that there is contrast. I really like Jersey Cream, but I worry that it will read more pale yellow than cream, which is what I'd prefer. I was pretty sold no Napery, but it just didn't seem like there was enough contrast between that and Dover White. I agree that Compatible cream is too gold (as a previous poster mentioned) for an overall color for our house. I'm going to use it as accent color though. Why is this so hard! Ok, I think I have one more day to make up my mind. Any more pictures would be so much appreciated! Thanks!

I have painted a number of squares of RH Butter on the walls, and I love it. I have samples of the two SW colors, but I don't think I'm going to put them up. They are both darker than the Butter, and I don't think I want to go darker. I would have liked to try the EK Honeysuckle, but as far as I can tell that paint has to be ordered, and I don't want to take the time to order a sample and then order the paint. I hope that the Butter looks good next to the two full-spectrum paints. I'll post photos when it is done. Thank you all, so much, for your help! scanmike, thank you for the comment about the finish. I had thought of matching the Butter in BM, because the closest RH is out of it (and the website is doing inventory and not shipping for a week). I did find it in the second closest store, though, so I will get it on Saturday. By coincidence, I just put up squares of Cappuccino in my new bathroom, and I think I am going to use that, too! I wish RH made towels in that color; unfortunately, they don't seem to.

(smile) I am not sure what the difference is between the mustard seed and my dining roomÂs cashew crunch?? To me, they look very close , (not IRL, I have only seen the color on here) I think I am looking at too many goldÂs and they are all starting to look the same. The EK mustard seed looks richer, I have seen it on here with white trim, dark cabinets/furniture. .it has that extra zing. BMÂs new line Aura has " Honeymoon" .. I have seen it on here also (canÂt remember whoÂs thread that was) I do remember is was a beautiful house and colorÂI will have to look it up again. I want to also see EK Classic Cream I may do my entry in that , as that is the same as my DR..I canÂt have every room gold!! I think it will be a nice flow from the kitchen, and will look good when I paint the dining room red (looking into EK rust) I think I better buy a fan deck! I like exactly what she had in the bedroom I read all the posts from the thread you started and I saw the formula she posted , after you have it made let me knowÂ(you go first.. LOL) if I canÂt find PP samples, I will take you up on it! SW or BM can copy any color. .isnÂt it amazing! I have to get through this kitchen first. (ugh) I wish we could gut this kitchen and do what I really wantÂ.itÂs just not me. The previous owner must have had a lot of wine as she planned it. lol!!! Not only is it dark, the lay out is not correct ..itÂs a mess. This will be a quick "lift me up" until we decide if we are moving or not in two years. If we stay, I will redo the entire kitchen, possibly build it out to make it a little bigger (that was our plan to begin with) but we wonÂt do it until we know if we are staying here or notÂ..
