DuraSupreme Cabinets/Lumber Yard Cabinets?
Comments (4)From my end I have in the past worked in "small town lumberyards". The ones I worked in both sold Kitchen Cabinets, several different lines and qualities. If you have a real lumberyard with good knowledgeable people staffing it then yes by all means look into purchasing cabinets from them. A lot of yards these days belong to buying groups and can get pretty dam good deals on many many products. However if the people that staff the yard are not knowledgeable then not so much..........See MoreKitchen cabinets help, totally overhwhelmed DuraSupreme/Decor/Shiloh
Comments (7)Budget is the number one for me. Next was functionality. For example, I went and looked at all the cabinet lines with their construction so that I could list out what they provide for the bucks. I also took my dishes with me to figure out if they will work with my planned use. For example, Decora was ok but not optimal because the top drawer was useless at 3" height. I might be wrong on the line as it's been a year. I looked at the depths of the upper cabinets to make sure they would fit what I need them to. I was used to 13" deep inside and many lines were o my 10-11". This means they don't fit plates. I didn't ask for quotes until I decided on a particular line. If the looks is all you need then a list of pros and cons for the money is your best bet....See MoreDura Supreme Cabinets

Comments (7)I purchased cabinets from Signature Custom Cabinets in Ephrata, PA. If this is the same company I would say my experience was exceptional. I worked with a designer who did all the plans and specs in 2018. Once order was placed we were given a delivery date and they came as planned (note I live less than 45 miles from Ephrata). The quality is very good. I have both painted and stained cabinets. Painted cabinets are not showing any cracks which is something I have seen with some other brands. I wipe them down with mild soap and water. As an FYI everyone thing is soft close, under sides finished to match paint or stain. I have one cabinet with glass doors that is stained but finished the inside with the paint color. Nice thing about the signature company they have a good selection of wood types to select from. As for cost they were more than some semi custom cabinets but by using custom cabinets we were able to maximum the space to achieve the necessary storage. Note before doing the kitchen I used them for a bathroom with painted cabinets. They are also holding up well....See Morehollishenry
