I think a light shade of olive green would probably lighten the room from what you currently have. I think it would be ok with the Baked Cumin and brown brick.

Thanks for all your advice. I think I would like to have the wall behind the credenza be a medium to dark blue so I like the Mystified and Leisure Blue as they would go nicely with the entry rug. Is the Mystified too dark? I have a big window and white trim and shutters. Also on that wall behind the credenza I would like to do some shelves - possibly cubes like this.. @Debbi Washburn Yes, I did see that picture (plus a few others online), so I knew what the overall veining pattern would be. But it's very hard to tell vein color from a photo online, especially one that shows a full slab or a zoomed-out full kitchen view. I was definitely expecting some grey, but I was not expecting the grey to be so dark, nor was I expecting it to dominate the gold/taupe tones.
