Doing a quick search I could not find what I'm seeing in my mind's eye ... but I'm thinking crystal pulls with nickel accents, but mostly clear crystal (or glass). This isn't quite it, but close. This one is more old-fashioned, so not exactly what I have in mind, but again, I really like the elegant clear pull with the polished nickel small accent. I have to go to sleep so I cannot search anymore, but I hope someone pipes in with something delicious for you!

Ezra, that's a decent start, but more information is needed for people to work with. You want a lot more than a salesperson offers, but you have to feed the engine to get it burning hot. The checklist Tilenut suggests is a good place to go. Just for another quick insight, it looks like you have a decent space to work with, but how much of that do you actually have left after subtracting room for a table adequate for all your potential needs, chairs, room to walk around, etc? Do you have another dining area elsewhere for when there's more than just the two of you? BTW, I wouldn't rule out Ikea. You could install the cabinets minus doors and drawer fronts and live with that while you chose and waited for custom doors. You might even console yourselves by planning a nice trip paid for with the savings. Also BTW, although it's a decent space, it's doesn't seem extravagant, and if it were mine I'd plan on 2 things right now: 1. Frameless cabinets for the extra storage. 2. Almost all drawers (instead of less expensive doors opening to shelves). The space lost to drawer hardware is very, very much made up for by the greatly increased efficiency of access to the storage. Actually, drawers are a have-to-have in my mind, no matter what. They're that much better. Since you're feeling pressed for the time this job really needs, those would also help substantially narrow the range of choices to consider.

Lily Spider and Carrie B - Thank you for the input. I think our hands are relatively small, so it will be interesting to feel some of these. I'm going to stop by the builders supply store tomorrow to get my hands on these and other suggested options. Erin Robbins - Thank you for the comments on the chandelier. I hadn't thought about how the kitchen may appear masculine - but you are correct. I selected the chandeliers because I really wanted something people noticed in the room as everything else was a really trying to keep a unified approach. The KD noticed that I had a need for symmetry and for things to tie together - but I also fight the boring accountant in me and need something creative. I'm glad for the chandeliers and the quartz is also an eye popper. The sample and the online image of the quartz just don't give it justice. It really is pretty. I would never had selected it, but I saw it installed at the appliance store and fell in love. Also, a much softer finish that the prior quartz I had selected which was darker and as you pointed out - more masculine. kiko - Thank you for the suggestion to consider the appliance handles. The only visible appliance handles will be the ovens. Just so happens the ovens were installed today. The oven handles are square and pretty beefy to the hand. Option 4 in the OP (JA-Delgado) gives the feeling of square, but softer. I'll post pictures of the oven handles. (Fridge and dishwasher are paneled; microwave is a electronic open drawer). Although, I just decided I cannot tell if the paneled refrigerator from Bosch I purchased comes with the handles. If it does that would be sweet; appliance handles are crazy expensive in comparison to all other cabinet hardware. sprtphntc - Thanks for your suggestion to also help narrow down the choices. Do you think it would make sense to have the island with a darker finish, but the same style/different finish on the perimeter. I'll look through your posts to see if I can find pictures of your kitchen. For finish, I was planning on satin nickel (I never mentioned that), but was also eyeing the J.Alexander brushed pewter finish. I'll get some samples in the various finishes and bring them into the kitchen to get a better feel. I wouldn't have thought about ORB - so I'll give that a try. In addition to the revitalize collection you suggested, I just found the Candler collection which has potential. blfenton - That prep sink faucet is very unique. I chose it because I'm hoping the folded up version of that means the faucet is less noticeable - but you may actually be right that people can't help be curious to play with the interesting faucet. Thanks for the vote on Delgado. It's been growing on me over the last 24 hours.

Few questions. Are you happy w/this layout? Are the cabinets solid wood and in good condition? have you gotten a quote from a cabinet painter? How do they prep? Prime? Paint-spray or? The ONE thing I would for sure tell you to add is a fridge surround. Your fridge hanging out in the breeze really lowers the overall look of the kitchen. like someone forgot something. Wouldn't this look a million times better? (and bring out the over the top cab so you can actually use it! ) looks like you have room on the side for a storage cab. you can have these made, or buy them. your cabinet painter (if they're good) will have a cabinet maker on hand that does modifications. for mine they did the vent hood and the drawers on my island) Your before looks very close to mine! I got everything painted, refaced the doors/drawers (you'll notice my drawers had slabs on the top. I wanted all to match) New flooring-french oak engineered wood. If the herringbone would have been available in this at the time (it is now) I would have gone w/that. new countertops/backsplash, and I moved the micro, put in a few drawers. also notice I had a nice vent hood made. I'd seriously consider doing the same and losing that more modern SS hood you currently have. Is your granite uba tuba or Verde something? this is one of my favortie olive gree/gold kitchens. But this is soapstone or a black granite called Virginia Mist. why are you leaving the granite top? you don't have that much to do if you did want it replaced. Love the emily henderson. love the floors. however, hers is done w/all white tops/walls. notice the fridge surround/doors, diff hood than yours. I really like this green too, but the dark top on the island is honed, the floors are oak. I also like the porcelain black and white tiles. (ChrisLovesJulia did those in her home) The herringbone wood floors I also love, but have you priced those? the pre-milled herringbone costs a lot more and is more expensive to have installed.
