laura-Wow, that looks like it, too! Apparently it is discontinued, whereas I can still get a full set at BB&B (and use my 20% off coupon, too!) But maybe that is the set she originally got.

Anyway, so glad to find it. I really love it, although I will admit it is not that comfortable to hold for day to day use.

I have this flatware, it has to be handwashed, and dried quickly or else it may rust, although the stains can be rubbed off. I bought mine at Pier One in
2001, loved the design, I used to have dishes with that swirl around the rim.

I've seen these at Marshall's and Ross stores in one place setting packages and serving pieces also. Look for stainless markings - if the pieces are stainless, they will be marked as such. 18/0, 18/8 and 18/10 are all markings for stainless with 18/10 being superior. If the piece is not marked, handwash for sure.

Yes, maybe the style is the same but the metal is not. The handles on mine are some kind of uncoated black metal, that's the part that gets little rust spots, which do wipe off though.

I just stumbled on them at Cost Plus, where they're marked as dishwasher safe. They say "treble clef", but look a little different than the ones I'd seen in a catalog (i.e., are probably a knock off).
