I am also looking for these plant poles. Fortunately I still have several hooks. They are brass like the pole you talked about. My mother gave them to me before she died but she couldn't find the poles. We moved a lot in the late 60's and they were perfect to hang in any apartment or home we were in. I have search in vain for the poles. Thank you, Nancy R for posting that Miles Kimball now carry them. I checked the link and they do sell them with three hooks for 29.99. A little steep for me. I may buy one just to use as an example for someone to make me more. You all have brought back fond memories of my mother and her love for plants. Thanks

Hi Steve, The DVD recorder/VCR was originally to transfer home movies to discs, and also tape shows on the VCR, and watch DVD movies. But.....the remote is so complex for my everyday taping of shows, that I decided to buy a simple VCR for that. I didn't want to wear out the VCR function of the expensive DVD recorder/VCR. So.....that machine will be basically for transferring VHS tapes to DVDs. The new, simple VCR will be for taping my favorite shows every day. After trying to get the new simple VCR to work, we're discovering that it has to have a co-axial from the antenna, and then a connection back to the TV. (plus the 3 colored wires to the TV). We need to get a couple splitters to do this, so we can have both machines hooked up at once. But just to get the VCR working, we've disconnected the needed wires from the DVD/VCR and plugged them into the VCR. Our dilemma has now become that, even after doing the initial set-up on the new VCR, the tapes won't play on the TV, nor can we watch the TV through it. I'm sorry I'm so stupid about this. Any help is really appreciated!

Thanks everyone for helping me narrow down my options, and for your great suggestions. So many names so little room in my yard! I really appreciate the great pictures as well. Amazing how many of you guys put in a word for Veterans' honor! Of all those suggested, it got 6/8 votes. It must be a heck of a rose, now I must give it a try. I look forward to testing its' longevity. I've searched other posts here and there seems to have always been favoritism towards Veterans' honor and Ingrid Bergman. Those must be some solid red roses. My take is that Veterans' honor would look better for its single blooms while Ingrid Bergman bush as whole would look great in the landscape-which would be nice to have since my Mister Lincolns are so Tall and Lanky looking. It is amazing the variety available for a "red" rose. Thanks everyone.
