Yes, it was totally inspired by yours. I figured them just as 1' squares based on the size of the bed, and what I had started to shovel. It's not exactly- or not at all- a SFG plan. I was just shoveling dirt this weekend and did the ones on the left side- no plan, just shoveled a bed that looked decent with a decent width path...the rest is still flat- to be tilled again in the spring, but I was antsy and wanted to get a start on the cold areas. I still don't have a handle on the SFG thing, but cutting my "traditional boring NE rows" garden into chunks was much more appealing this year. Made for a more inviting veggie patch, that's for sure. I'd like to put solid borders on the beds, but I don't ever see that happening since we really love the roto-tiller ;) Not sure what options might be out there that could serve as temporary sidewalls. I've never used that feature, either. I do something else. I highlight that which I want to save, right click, choose "copy" open up a blank document in Word and right click "paste". Then I name the document something like "Tomato Tips" and save it in a folder on my computer named "Garden". I've got a lot of "Dawn" stuff in there!! That way is easier for me, and more permanent.

I have been looking for these also - they are darned hard to find. I looked at the alligator clips but they are quite long - at least the ones I could find. They also have an extension on one side of them to put wires in which makes them quite big. Arlene

The local fabric store sells them in the sewing notions section labeled for hems. I guess it's better than pins, especially on fabrics where pins might leave visible holes.
