Yes Sheesh, I think I will be happier using the technique in the above video, it’s still pretty much a floating floor so I could lift up the wall sides occasionally to do a mold check or roll up ends to clean if need be. As far as hosing it down, this would be something I would likely do more towards the center of the room to eliminate stuff from car work. Also, please keep in mind you all that my flooring choice research was done with my type of garage in mind. My garage is cement block and stucco with a cement floor and has no drywall except one wall. That one wall has a cement border along bottom before drywall. Some garages have a cement band going around the whole wall bottom with drywall going up from there…probably very safe with this floor with that set-up. I think another thing to keep in mind is if your floor is properly slanted toward your garage door opening. I once had a garage where some knuckle heads graded the cement floor towards the door going into the house. The rest of my storage components came to day. I purposely ordered them a week or so apart to free up space for assembly with each order. My first order was a three piece large/tall storage kit from Amaz…Three storage containers = six boxes. Those took two hours to assemble. When I went back to order another kit comprised of the workbench/table, another tall cabinet, one base cabinet and one wall cabinet kit the price had gone up considerably. So, I ordered the 2nd kit from “O” and saved a lot. Same thing with the flooring, big price differences from site to site. The same holds true for the locking wheels option on your worktable. They are $60 on most sites but I found the exact same thing on another site for $40. This is what the second kit looks like before assembly. It’s another tall cab, one wall cab, one base cab and a work table kit. As with the first delivery they put it right into the garage for me.

I love growing amaranth, and I like the seed for eating better than millet. It makes a great cereal. Yes, some of the amaranths are quite beautiful and are grown as ornamentals, like the bleeding heart and Joseph's Coat. The leaves and seeds are still edible as long as you don't use systemic insecticides on them. When I was little, my grandmother and I would go out to what used to be corn fields down the road and pick the Palmer's Amaranth and pigweed that had taken it over. The plants grew rapidly, and could get very tall. In the fall, she went back and picked the seed pods and used it for hot cereal in the winter. Raw amaranth grain is not digestible by humans, but when it's cooked, it is chock full of nutrients.
