I just saw a video of this, and other RL faux type paints (leather, suede, etc)on, I think, RLHome.com I just googled for it. I'm loving the look of the suede and the leather look, too.

bump. I've been wondering about Candlelight as well. It's gorgeous in their pamphlet, isn't it? Actually, come to think of it, someone posted about it not too long ago. Let me find it.

I "stole" the BM color viewer program off a counter guy at the local ACE Hardware store. Wonderful feeling isn't it? It was given to him by BM but he wasn't going to use it. I really tried to give him the $10...honest!

There's some emulsion/slight texture to candleight, but it's not like heavy texture. It's actually just rolled on and then you basically do a general x pattern over your rolled on strip with what others call a rough roller and Ralph calls a $25 "application roller". http://rlhome.polo.com/rlhome/products/paint/candlelight_howto.asp?step=11 LOL

I haven't actually done candlelight, but I've done denim, linin and river rock in an old place of ours. Did Seude in the office of my current place. I really liked river rock and seude casts a nice glow. (random shot attached)--there's a white sofa with 10,000 & 1 pleats covered in plastic under the mirror. ;-)

On a serious note, make sure you have enough paint and work fast because if you allow the edge to dry, any of these techniques can become a total mess.
