Has anyone used the RL River Rock paint? Does the texture come out looking like smooth stone? I don't want to put this on a wall, but on my kitchen rangehood! It's currently a cabinet paint, but I want to soften it up and make it look more like stone texture instead of slick cabinet. I gave my cabinetmaker a photo of a stone hood which he replicated in wood, but I want that non-reflective stone texture. The hood is wide enough with a good ventilation fan that I'm not too concerned about cooking around it.

I watched the RL video but I think a normal size roller will be too large to use. Is there a type of small roller that will work?
