What frying pan should I buy?

I'm in love with my new BlueStar range (free-standing with 6 inch backsplash), but the pans I own are inadequate. My go-to pan is a cast iron one whose inside measurement across the top is 10 1/4 in. It is really too small for most family-sized cooking and the 10 inch Revere gets too hot on the 22,000 btu burners and burns everything. I know many are in love with All-Clad's stainless pan, but I don't see in for less than $135. Is it worth that big price? Cast iron is not too heavy for me so that's not an issue, but what size? Is the 15 inch Lodge as huge as it looks? Is the 12 inch size adequate for let's say cooking four good-sized hamburgers or chicken breasts at the same time. Especially for those using a BlueStar, what is your ideal pan?
