Kitchen flooring: thinking LVT

I should begin by saying how much I am enjoying this forum community, and how helpful it has been to us in planning our new kitchen. We have a mid sized ranch, 2,300 square foot. or new kitchen will be 12.5 x 20 feet. Since we are removing walls and opening up the entire main living area, we will be making the den, formal dining room and entry foyer all one space, with the kitchen at the far end to the right. Entry foyer is centered. We looked at much flooring, with the following concerns: 1) We are on a concrete slab. 2) We have multiple dogs, 3) the dogs love to play in the back yard and we always have mulch, rocks and toys all over the kitchen. Yes, the door to the back yard is in the kitchen. So, we want to make the entire area one floor type, spill and scratch resistant, not too cold on the feet, (we are in New jersey), dog water bowls proof. We are leaning towards Karndean LVT, from their DaVinci collection. 48 inch long wood plank, beveled edges. Has anyone used this on their projects? Cost is very high, higher than laminate, higher than many true hard woods. But a 20 year scratch and dent warranty.......water proof too. it s a glue down. thanks for any feedback!
