Thanks for the feedback. I did decide to go with the RH knobs (Gilmore) and pulls (Ephram). The weight is nice, and the Ephram pulls were closest to what I wanted (very simple) with a very smooth, comfortable feel. I only bought 3 3" pulls b/c to me 3" pulls are way too tiny. The best part about RH hardware is that the pulls come in so many length (3", 4", 6", 8" and online some styles can be bought in 10" and 12"). The bad thing is that they don't sell any appliance pulls (HELLO! Anyone buying knobs and pulls is highly likely to ALSO want matching appliance pulls!) Anyway, the absolute BEST is that I bought most of the knobs and pulls I needed in our local RH store, and sadly the remaining ones had to be ordered and they were backordered until 4/8 (not good for us!). However, the awesome manager at my store called around to other stores and found the rest of my hardware pieces at two other stores and arranged to have them shipped to me; he called me when I walked in the door to my house - AMAZING customer service! By far, the best purchasing experience I've had with shopping for our renovation! So, now I highly recommend them. The quality seems to be there and the level of customer service is extremely satisfactory!

Thanks, jbrig and californiagirl (I'm in California too!) I'll check ebay also. I would like to install hardware now because I've been wanting to do this for years but have been waiting to paint the cabinets, which just hasn't happened yet. I don't like having to touch the drawers and doors in order to open them and they do get dirty faster. I also thought it might look better to have hardware. We just replaced the old, hard water damaged faucet to a nice new Hansgrohe faucet and even that improvement, though small, makes me happy :) As jbrig mentioned, I'm now back to wondering whether we should paint the cabinets if we're going to sell the house. I have posted on this before and still keep going back and forth as to whether it's a good idea to spend time and money painting and/or replacing the appliances if a new buyer might just want to tear it all out anyway! Besides painting, I priced appliances over the weekend and it would probably be around $7,000 to replace the Kitchenaid appliances with new stainless steel (if I buy them at Sears Outlet as they become available - would be over $10,000 if I just purchase them all at once from regular appliance store). I'm going to follow up with the agent on this to get more advice. If changing the kitchen won't help us sell or increase our selling price, then I might want to put that money towards my next kitchen instead :) If I do paint, it's a great idea to try out different colors on poster boards and then ask for input on GW. I'll definitely do that! JessHS - we used Sherwin Williams Antique White throughout our whole house on all the doors and trim (pillars, windows, crown, baseboard, etc.). It's a very pretty creamy white in our house, not too yellow or drab, and works well with our walnut stained floors and warm neutrals. I'm just not sure if it will work with the counters. The first pic below shows 3" Gilmore pulls on my dinning room buffet. I do prefer the finger room of the 4" pull, but I was replacing the old hardware that the buffet came with and the holes were drilled 3" apart. The buffet drawers are 19". I wanted Gilmore pulls for our new kitchen, but ended up getting different pulls due to the raised panel door style. In the bottom two pics, you can see how the Gilmore pulls don't look right with the narrow raised panel portion of the door. The second pic shows a 3" pull. The last pic shows a 4" pull. I agree with rmkitchen..see if you can get reimbursement or credit for the shipping costs for any exchange you make. 3" Pull 4" Pull

Are the knobs going on the uppers & the pulls on the lowers? If so, I don't think they have to match. I don't think the faucet has to match the sink, and neither has to match the cabinet hardware... so why would the knobs have to match the pulls? Sure, they have to look good together, but looking the same doesn't always mean the best, sometimes, slight variations (like using pulls on drawers and knobs on cabinets) make things look more interesting.
