Dark Granite with Cream Cabinets

We are in the process of picking out granite for our cream cabinets. The cabinets are raised panel with applied moulding and have no glaze on them. My husband is against anything remotely light colored or has too much brown in it. Originally we had two Santa Cecelia slabs on hold but there were marks on it and the fabricator couldn't guarantee they wouldn't be on the countertop.

We have since had most of our cabinets installed and it's a lot of ivory so we are now looking at darker colors such as

uba tuba gold and verde peacock gold.

We need to make a decision in the next day as the templating will be taking place on Thursday. I'm nervous that the colors are too dark and would be too much of a contrast.

Anyone have this combination or any thoughts?
