I have had the same concerns. Do I really need to be so careful? That can get old! I haven't tried the Method Cleaners yet. I just had the installers here and they were using alcohol with water mixed in a spray bottle to clean them. I've tried a few things now and so far my favorite one is Hope's Daily Granite Cleaner. You can get it at Bed Bath and Beyond. If you use glass cleaner be sure it doesn't have ammonia in it. That can do damage such as etching. I worry about staining my granite since it's light in color. TB is so beautiful! Congrats on your new counter.

My mom just got TB with her medium dark cherry cabinets and it is the most beautiful thing you ever saw!!! Here in GA they are so bad with lots of rust stains and big splotches of weird colors. It is nothing like what my mom has in Kentucky. Her's is more like the slabs you and others are posting, the beautiful ones with the more all over pattern. Someone said it has changed recently so you are fortunate to find the beautiful TB slabs while you can. You did the right thing with TB it is great with cherry cabs and is fun to decorate around/with. You will not have any trouble finding things to go with it. We think the Danville Tan BM goes well with it. Someone also recommended Macadamia either BM or SW not sure. My mom has a stainless sink with an ORB faucet and it looks great. I think you can just about use anything with SS. You are doing great with your choices. I have a Grohe Bridgeford faucet in chrome and I love it. You will have to sort of twist it back in after spray use but that is the only thing I have noticed about it and it is no big deal.

I have Typhoon Bordeaux in my new kitchen and I also love it. We used a marble subway tile called Bursa Beige with glass accent tiles similar to the ones you are considering. We did a row 2 deep of the accent tiles and it looks great. Since the granite is so beautiful the backsplash needs to be simple but elegant. Attached are photos of my kitchen. Thank you so much! I think that's what we are worried about. Our kitchen already seems dark and we currently have white countertops and a white sink so I'm worried if we add darker countertops and a dark sink then everything will just blend together into a dark cave. I want the sink to pop so maybe brighter is the way to go! I don't love my white sink now but maybe an off-white will do the trick if anyone has any suggestions. Good idea about the curtain. We have to rip out the whole bottom cabinet anyway because it is water damaged but that might be easier than trying to rebuild doors and match the stain.
