Should I put my cup pulls on panel below cooktop, sink?
Comments (6)The other thing to be concerned about is that you stand right against a sink area especially. I had a pullout there in my last kitchen and I always felt like the knob was poking me. So, I would never do a centered knob again. Ive worked at a cooktop with a drawer right under but it had two pulls (these drawers are obviously wider) and that wasn't a problem....See Morewhat size cup pulls for a 30' pot drawer
Comments (5)dcindc, I had the same question with my cabinetry and had actually planned on putting in 2 cup pulls that are about 4" in diameter on my 30" drawers. But I really don't mind the look of the one pull now that I've gotten used to it. A friend of mine even commented that she thinks 2 pulls would have possibly looked a little too busy on a 30" drawer. So my answer to your question is, I think 2 of the 4" pulls will look fine and you don't need to increase the size to 6"! Here's a photo of my kitchen (it was getting dark so I apologize for the bad lighting) but the 30" drawers are to the left of the hood cabinetry....See Moregglks........and anyone else with RH Gilmore pulls
Comments (12)GGlks, Wow, I just saw all these posts. Thanks for the info, I'm going to check out your knobs. Just got back from my friends house and she just put in the gilmore pulls. I love the way they look. Demo is going well. Dh is doing a lot of it on the weekends. Living without a kitchen isn't too bad, still have the stove, fridge and sink in the bathroom. And lots of invites to go to dinner! You might have seen my post to nomorebluekitchen about her soapstone. It was always on the top of my list, but scared of maintenance with the little ones. I love your Costa Esmerelda counters, and I'll probably go with them. I just don't want to get finished with the kitchen and say I should have gone with my first choice. I want something bullet proof and from what you and others have told me CE is. Uggh...I'm really driving hubby crazy. Your kitchen is so beautiful, I just hope my Costa looks like yours. IT is so much more swirly with light and dark spots. That is what DH likes about it. Like looking into space. Keep you posted. Not much more till after Thanksgiving....See MoreRH Duluth Bin Pulls - Advice?
Comments (9)I went the economical route and got Top Knob cup pulls for base cabinets and knobs for wall cabinets in polished nickel. When I was price searching online, everywhere but one place were the same price. I didn't like the return policy of the lower price online store, so I called Build.com and they price matched. They were quite a bit cheaper. The cup pulls are zinc, and the knobs are brass and very heavy .....they were more expensive. Neither were anywhere near the price of RH hardware. Btw, the pulls have plenty of space to put fingers under....See Morejalsy6
