Tapmaster vs Delta's Touch 2o

Is the Tapmaster obsolete now that Delta (and Brizo) have the touch faucets? I had a Tapmaster in my last house and passionately loved it. It was awesome. If you had raw chicken all over your hands - no problem - water on, water off; and the handle stayed pristine.

But now it's $100 more than it was then, so I'm looking at other options. Enter the Delta Touch 2o. You just touch any part of it to turn the water on or off. I just can't get excited about it though.

I don't exactly see the benefit of the touch faucets. You still have to use your hand or arm to touch it. And if DH has just washed his hands, they'll drip all over the faucet when he touches it.

Is there any place cheaper to buy the Tapmaster? Or do you think the touch faucets are just as good? I'm having a hard time coughing up $300 for the Tapmaster. When it was only $200 it didn't seem so extravagant, lol.

What do you think of the touch faucets?
