Any rule of thumb for knobs/pulls on cabinets? Help!!!

Hi - I'm trying to figure out what knobs/pulls to get for our kitchen, and not sure if there are any rules of thumb for how to do them.

We have shaker style doors and drawers, lots of pot & pan drawers (none over 30" wide) and lots of top drawers.

I will be doing a simple knob on the cabinet doors, but am lost with the drawers.

Our kitchen is ivory painted wood, shaker style. I'm going with a brushed/satin nickle finish.

I find that cup pulls can look really good and sometimes look really busy (especially on the 6" high drawers), so I'm wondering about different options.

On the suggestion of my Cabinet maker I put knobs on the doors and cup pulls on the drawers and double pulls on the wide drawers 27" I think they look too busy but the wife likes them. Here is a picture.
