peninsula seating height- raised or lowered???

I see that raised peninsula/island seating is popular. I was thinking of lowering mine - so it could double as a low spot for working with dough, etc. And i thought if the counter was lower, it would be safer - so papers and whatnot couldnt accidentally get pushed over the edge onto my cooktop.

BUT if i raised it I could put a wall oven under the counter and would also provide a little more storage and would hide the kitchen a bit more from the dining room.

{{!gwi}} in this pic the small section next to the cooktop would be standard counter height and the entire vertical seating area would be separate - either raised or lowered. The small sink on there probably wont happen, but it isnt 100% out of the question at this point.

Any other things i should consider?
