Can you be a little more specific about the type(s) of wood you want and your budget? Are you just looking for a table or are you also looking for chairs?

For a while, I was planning on building a cherry dining room table, but in the end, we bought one. Here are some places I found while looking for inspiration.

You could call Vermont Furniture Design. We bought our Cherry dining table from them and really love it. They don't list a trestle, but you could call them.

Have you tried antique stores???? I bought one at our local shop, as I will be teaming it with a banquette. It might be a shot anyway.....

We got a double-pedestal table from Bermex. You can choose from various shapes, finishes, etc.

Overlyoptimistic - wood type I suppose would prefer oak, maple, something hard b/c it is a dining table. Ballard Designs has a 60" but it is pine. Budget has to stay under $1000. For now just looking for a table b/c chairs are easier to find. Appreciate the help

These guys made me an new top from old wood for my farmhouse table base. I've also had them do other custom pieces. They can make anything you want, but I'm afraid it would not be in your budget. ..... Just thought I would post for others looking at your thread. They do excellent work.

You can always check out unpainted furniture stores. They have catalogs of all sorts of furniture. Finishing a trestle table wouldn't be that hard.

Just chiming in to sympathize with you. I have been searching for a trestle table of this size as well. I almost broke down and ordered the one from Ballard today.
I'm going to check out some of the sources suggested here.
Why are these so hard to find? Now I know I'm not the only one looking for one!

Many trestle tables were designed to come apart so that they could be easily moved. I like the look of them, but I'm always hitting my legs on the stretcher underneath. It is common for trestle tables to have boards that run the full length of the table. I think this makes a very attractive top, but I suspect that it also makes trestles more expensive because you have to find the right boards. This might be why you are struggling to find one under 1000.

Unfortunately, I don't have any good leads for under $1000, but it sounds like others have posted some ideas.
