If the faucet were that industrial restaurant type, I'd think it didn't go. But it has simple lines and all your metals are in the silver family, including the chandelier, so I think it goes just fine.

I think it looks fine. I am guessing that the counter is lower behind that wall.

Is that Bianco Antico granite? That is what I am having installed! Also, can you tell me about that chandelier? I love it!

It does make it look like a kitchen, but that's OK. We could already tell. :)

Yes the bar counter is what you see in the picture and the countertop is lower thats why you only see half of the faucet.

The chandelier we got it from a local store called lamps plus. I will try to post a link if i can find it.

If it bothers you, why not put a nice big fruitbowl or vase of flowers or plant on that counter to block it?

Yea i guess, but we might want to keep the bartop as clean as can be.

I like your faucet and I think it looks fine. You are really noticing it now because you are not used to it. Believe me I have been there and now things that really bothered me I don't even notice, with exception of my backsplash..Also love your cabs and granite choices. Lovely kitchen!!

Well the faucet is in plumber has installed it. I hope that is the case where it will just look normal after i look at it some more.

Thanks for the compliments. Can you tell our cabinets are painted? We painted it ourselves and although it is not the best paint job, we are happy we did, the original color is just too dull.

Good luck with your backsplash, i havent started because i guess we have to fix the wall first, dont know how but it will have to be done to complete this little kitchen.

fruit bowl OVER the faucet ...and some velvet drapes will take care of the fridge. your kitchen looks lovely!

The problem with your faucet is that it needs to be bigger to balance the fridge.

Your kitchen is beautiful. I definitely could not tell that you painted the cabinets. Great job -- I love them.
I'm going to have a similar situation with a tall faucet on the other side of a bar. The granite goes down on 7/10 and the faucet won't be far behind. When I start to twitch, I'll find this thread to calm me down. Seriously, it looks great.

shoregirl, yes you cant tell they are painted from far, but you will be, if you look closer hehe.. So the other side of the bar? thats how my faucet is, behind the bar. if your faucet is on any other side of the kitchen, i dont think it will be a problem.

You will get used to the faucet. When we first got our gooseneck, i thought what a monstrosity. Now I look at regular faucets and think, that little thing!!

Otherwise, cleverly placed barn animals can do amazing disappearing acts. ask igloo :)

I think your kitchen looks fantastic! You won't even notice the faucet if you get a couple accessories. I'd be too busy staring at my gorgeous chandelier, anyways!

What color did you paint the cabinets? No I would never know from my monitor that they were painted. My son just bought a house and will be closing in August. Thats the first thing he wants to do is paint the cabs a white. Very nice...

Marilyn, it is BM mayonaise, oh were you the one asking about white paint for ceiling? the picture might not be a good representation, but the ceiling is cloud white, cabinets mayonnaise.

I do see what you are noticing about the kitchen faucet. Once you have more kitchen decor in the background, I don't think you will notice it anymore.

Your chandelier and pendant lights are beautiful. Feels elegant to me.

the only decor we will have in our small kitchen... most likely will just be the backsplash. and on the bartop most likely we want to keep it clean... well i am still getting used to it, will see.
