Dripping Faucet Won't Fix!!
Comments (6)THanks!! It has Peerle stamped on front. I don't know model number. Is 20 or more years old, but has a contemporary look 0r perhaps classic in that it has two faucets shaped as X style and one tall arched faucet. It used a 3S-10H/C stem replacement. It was clear the washer was bad (it was dripping a lot) so I first replaced washer and spring. Nothing worked so I went back and purchased stems (above) and replaced those. The stems are exactly like the ones I removed. I have taken out and put in several times turning 180 to fit slots in both ways... The best I can see now is that the nut is not screwing all the way to the base. I have used Liquid Wrench and it improves slightly but faucet turns back and forth and no water at all (as though something is not connected, but it is!). Water is at steady but light stream when water is on and neither faucet does anything. I am SO appreciative of you replying... I thought no one was around!...See Morejustifying Tapmaster instead of a touch-on faucet
Comments (47)Has anyone used the Euro model yet? If so, how is it? The TapMaster site says you can push the lever in any direction...left, right, push in, pull out...and it will work. You're only limited to left/right if you want to lock it "on". Now that I finally installed my NeverMTs, I'm ready to tackle the TapMaster battle ($296 @ Conservastore)...I want one for my prep sink, at least. (I suspect once my DH sees how nice it is to use he'll want one on the cleanup sink as well...) So, any input on the Euro style is welcome! (The cabinet door one is out since I sometimes lean on the sink cabinet doors w/my knees while working at the sink.)...See MoreSink faucet dripping after a couple hours
Comments (22)Hello, my faucet is having a leaking issue, as well. However, it's a different type of faucet from what I am seeing here. Water actually trickles out the top where the lever is that you pull up to turn the faucet on. It also drips out of the spout. And the kicker is that when I open the cabinet underneath, there are big drops in three places coming down from the inside top of the cabinet where the bowl/sink sits. The stranger part is that I do not see any water on top of the cabinet underneath the bowl/sink. In other words, the inside is dripping as if there is a puddle in top of the cabinet which is causing it to leak inside. So there are 3 separate leaks 2 from the faucet itself and one from the cabinet top under the bowl. So I am basically sitting here listening to drips inside the cabinet and if left undetected a large puddle will form in the bottom of the cabinet. I hope all this makes sense, so I can get some help with this confusing issue. Thank you so much....See MoreAre you really that sensitive? (side faucets?)
Comments (11)I had my Kohler Simplice installed about 2 weeks ago and so far I like it. Still getting used to the pull-down thing - my old one had a side sprayer which was not working correctly the last few years so I figured I may as well try the new type. I had put a swivel aerator on the faucet anyway so I am really used to just grabbing the faucet swivel and directing the spray. The pulldown takes longer, but it is a better spray of course. I really have not seen any issues with getting the water temp right, but I just improved things by switching the water lever to the front instead of at the side. Why on earth I didn't think of that sooner, I don't know. SO much better....See MoreUser
