I need to decide on kitchen faucet today. Had planned on the Hansgrohe Talic C Higharc but the Moen faucets are about half the price and plumber says parts are much easier to get for the Moen (plus all the positive on the new reflex technology here). I prefer the look of the Brantford over the Arbor, but I'm concerned the ridges and grooves are going to be harder to clean. Can you please give me your comments?

I am searching for a faucet that allows the nozzle to pivot around the sink and stay where it is dirrected without being held. I think these ball joints may be the answer. I was looking for a cosmetic angle of the nozzle, but a ball joint at the top of the hose would be great. I was at lowes last night, the closer it gets to faucet time the more likely it will come from there, and their cheapest chrome faucet ($98) happened to be a Peerless that had this feature. It was lacking in a pause button and probably in quality, but the floor model stayed where I directed it. I am still hoping to find a few more so i can have a choice. I guess I should plan on going back to the plumbing stores and rechecking the brands mentioned above, thank you for the list. Does anyone else have a faucet that can do this and who makes it?

I needed to pick a faucet that had a handle that didn't tip back too far because I was worried about it hitting the backsplash or window overhang. I have a large sink and only 24" to work with. That's why I ended up going with this model. It is the Hamat Ergo. I bought mine from faucetdirect.com. Mine is chrome, the picture from Faucetdirect is stainless I think. Wow, great feedback and fast too! @Green: good advice, though I will say that my water quality appears pretty good. I base that mainly on the three drip irrigation systems I run. I clean the filters twice a year, but there is typically virtually no debris despite running hundreds of gallons of water through them. @David: Great references, esp the last post you linked to regarding "semi-pro/commercial faucets." I was immediately reminded of the problems with a true commercial prerinse unit, which I had been told of three years ago. Also fun to see the video of the KWC, which was the faucet I had almost gotten originally. Looks great, probably would have been worth the $1200 back then. Some of the other faucets like the Elevate look fun, but we are trying to stick with the metal coil/prerinse look as the island and sink are so huge that the scale demands a really big faucet. The good news: Blanco customer service responded within 30 minutes of sending a message through their website, and they are sending out a new diverter and sprayer. That will at least allow us to buy some time. Though after seeing the video I suspect DW will still push for the KWC. Her offer was pretty good though...
