Wow I had looked through the gallery before, but I had not noticed the "View a floor plan drawing of this design" link at the bottom right side of the picture. It has a measured floor plan and detailed elevations for each photo. I wish the other cabinet manufacturers would make theirs so easy to use. Usually you can see door styles OR sample rooms, but this site has them right next to each other and you can select only the rooms/styles/colors you want to see.

remodeflfla: The features that cilantro and I are talking about are just parts of the webpages and pdf files. Mac should work fine with it. I think you may be thinking about the 3D kitchen planner. I didn't try that because I use the BHG software.

Yes, those drawing files are specifically what I love about the site. Those are found by going into the photo gallery. Really helps to see how the pieces go together, exactly how big the room is...

It's a treasure trove of info for DIY planning/ designing.

And, heck, I didn't even notice that there was a 3 D Planner!

ci lantro-I tried using this many times last year when designing my kitchen and it always kicked me off..right in the middle of designing it would just shut down my whole internet. It took me days just to custom design one kithen plan because of it. Did you have this problem or is it my computer??

dd70--I had that exact same problem when I tried to use the planner at Ikea's site and suspect that it's my computer. I have an older computer & only 1 gig of RAM. (Computer replacement after the kitchen!) After that happened, I just went back to doing it the old fashioned way--on graph paper.

Then, I went hi-tech ;) and used one of those Dritz folding cardboard thingees that home sewers use for laying out fabric & patterns. I cut counter runs out of colored paper, appliances out of another color, etc., used push pins to hold stuff in place. Worked out great because it was so easy to move stuff for alternate lay-outs. It's like a super big piece of graph paper.

Anyway, to be more clear, I was talking about the pdf floorplan & elevation files as a resource of useful information (visualization wise) and did not even realize that the Merillat had an online 3D planner until perqqderqq mentioned it!

Their website is probably the reason I used Merillat! I think I started playing around with their 3D designer 3 years ago - and I liked that feature. I had some bugs along the way, but nothing out of the ordinary. Cabinets are in mid-install and they are looking great! Neighbors are raving about the color...we chose Maple Sedona.
