Compare Ticor with MRdirectint. I think a couple of their sinks (including mine) aren't showing up on the site. Might want to call and ask why if you're interested. I love my new single bowl sink from them....$109!

If you're looking at Ticor sinks, check Gallexy tool supply on Ebay. They allow you to make an offer on their Ebay sinks. I both my Ticor sinks that way at a huge savings. I paid $150 for one (listed on Ebay for $219) and paid $90 for the other (listed for $169).

I have 2 Ticors, the s112 and the s805 for my prep sink. They have not been installed yet, but they do allow for a neutral reveal. The template has lines for a slight positive or the flush cutouts. I will be getting flush, even if the fabricator tries to talk me out of it. That is what I want! Definitely check out Galaxy's ebay store, but I bought both sinks from Overstock.com for $300 shipped which I thought was pretty good too. (and I didn't know about the ebay store). They are really really good quality.

Thank you for the info I checked MR direct and they are out of stock on the sink and I will look into Ebay. Did anyone else have trouble with Gallexy? Any thoughts on a prep sink?

I couldn't find the S805...did you mean 705...how is that size working out for you...is it too small or just right? What faucet did you select?

I got my Ticor sinks from Galaxy (S112 & S905) - I ordered over the phone - they were very helpful and knowledgable and gave me a discount on the shipping charges. About a week after I received the sinks I saw them for less at Overstock, and I called Galaxy and they matched the price and credited my card for the difference! Which they totally didn't have to do, but it was great customer service. Still paid a bit more due to the shipping cost (only $2.95 at Overstock) but overall I was very pleased and I suspect that if you called Galaxy they'd match the Overstock price with shipping? If I'd known they sold their sinks on EBay I would have definitely tried that as well.

My prep sink is the s805 (see link). It has not yet been installed, but I currently have a prep sink that is approx. 11 1/2'' by 12'' and it is tooo small. This one has inside measurements of 13 x 16 1/2 and is a GREAT size for me and my island. My biggest colander fits in there with plenty of room to spare and the offset drain is a great feature. I'm going to have it mounted longways with the drain (and garbage disposal) to left. I would suggest doing a mock up of the prep sink size you want to see if the size seems right. As for what faucet, I am having a heck of a time with that one! So no faucet yet.

I have the same two Ticor sinks as kidshop, and I love them. I got them through Galaxy, and I had no problems at all. They arrived within 48 hours of when I ordered them. A neutral reveal is most definitely possible, and I would highly recommend it. Drainage has been great. The size of both sinks is perfect, and I LOVE the grids that came with them. We got Kohler Vinnata faucets, and those have worked out great. We got the primary sized one for the clean-up sink and the secondary sized one for the prep sink, but we could have gone with the secondary sized one for both.
