Hello, new to the forum and think it is great!. I am in the market for a new sink. I am trying to do the impossible by replace my existing double bowl undermount with a new single bowl. I have found many sinks with the appropriate dimensions, but not necessarily one with the proper corner radius. I have called GT and TICOR and they can't provide me with the detail spec. information. Can anyone with a ticor s112 provide me with or measure the radius for me? Thanks for your help in advance. I have attached a website below that provides a cery good explaination on how to measure a radius. Mike

I have an S112. The counter radius of curvature for positive reveal is roughly 3.5 inches. The radius of curvature for zero reveal looks to be about 3 inches. These values do not exactly compute, so I need to look closer at a more reasonable hour.

What point of measurement did you want?

The zero reveal radius is a close fit to a 6.5-inch diameter gallon paint can, making the radius 3.25 inches. Note that the shape of the S112 is not a rectangle with rounded corners. The sides bow out slightly, perhaps a quarter-inch from a line drawn between the points of "paint can" tangency along the width direction. The front to back bowing is proportionately smaller.

Ticor sinks ship with a template. Maybe Galaxy Tool has a spare they can send you. At Ticor's website, there are DXF files of the sinks, but using TrueView, I don't see any more information than is on Galaxy's web site. In particular, the radii are not defined.

I've been very happy with my S112. I do not actually use the grid - I tried it for a while, but honestly found it to be more of a nuisance for the way I clean up and use the sink. What is your concern about the size of the holes? food getting thru? I think the size is perfect for my needs, but I would suggest taking your largest pans, sheets and roasting items and measuring them to see what will work best for you. I could have always gotten an even bigger sink - I love having lots of room, but it didn't make sense with the location/design and this one is plenty big enough for my pans/sheets to lie completely flat on the bottom with room to spare. I personally wouldn't get anything smaller, but again that's based on the size of my items to clean! The noise doesn't seem a problem, but I'm also only used to using a SS sink. you can't beat the price for the quality of sink.

I purchased mine from Galaxy when fed-ex said I was too late to have it there by templating and it arrived a day early. The fact that they're prompt about shipping out is worth the extra few bucks I think. Who knows when overstock will get around to dropping it in the mail. $219 is a great deal either way. Everyone who's seen the sink and heard what I paid has done a double take to make sure they heard correctly. Then they look at all of the extras and say "all of that was included???"

NO WAY!!! We installed our own sink and we are not professionals believe me! We have NO silicon showing and I have NO difficulty getting my grid in and out of the sink. They really do not know what they are talking about in my opinion. Love my sink and I think the slight negative reveal (1/4") is just right. Good luck. Sorry it took so long to respond - DIY projects just keep coming and coming. WE are on from the kitchen to the bathroom and now to the landscaping!!!
