What color Corian with Kraftmaid Honey Spice cabinets?

We are trying to decide on a color of DuPont Corain that would pair well with the Kraftmaid Mapleton cabinets in honey spice we just bought. Any thoughts, suggestions, pictures or ideas would be most welcome. The kitchen itself is galley style with a north-facing window, so we are trying to bring some warmth and color to the room without getting too dark. Thank you SO much!

For adding actual color without getting too dark, your options are kinda limited:

Blue Pebble on the Right; Willow on the Left

There are some other light-to-medium colors but the patterns are kind of active and swirly. Have you looked at them on the Dupont site?

Hi blueridgecabin, I also have hickory in a spice finish from AW. I love the cabinets and my granite but if i were to do it again i would probably go for a little more contrast and go a little lighter on my granite. Since my granite has variation it works and am happy with it but your choices are endless. I would look through the FKB at different cab/color combos and see what suites you. Personally, I find tile a consumers nightmare! Every time I've had to pick out tile I come home from shopping confounded! Take your door and countertop sample with you, go tile shopping and bring home LOTS of samples. I would also take into consideration the color of your appliances. I have honey spice birch cabinets, a dark grey countertop, ss appliances, and I ended up with a tile I love (unfortunately, it is discontinued or I'd recommend it). Our floor tile is a colorbody (or through body) porcelain and it wears like iron. It looks kind of like a weathered limestone with colors of the honey spice tone, silvery grey and white. It is not too dark and not too light; hides dirt too. I also like the feel of it on bare feet, like water worn stone. We got 18" tiles and we like that size in a smallish kitchen. DH thinks it is one of his favorite things about the kitchen. I feel for you - choosing tile is hard. It helped me to have my BIL give his opinion; he is a printer. So, I'd suggest having someone you know with color sense come and take a look at the samples in your kitchen. Good luck with it and let us know what you choose.

Made in China? Google Cliqstudios manufacture "Indiana" Warehouse? Sure looks to me made from scratch. Be careful on big box stores. Most of the cabinets for plywood box is a up charge 20%. Make sure the face is a hardwood. I did my masterbath 10 years ago from lowes. They looked great but cheap as hell (Cost was not cheap) Got sucked in with the dove tail drawers also bought two linen cabinets. SHOCKING vinyl contact paper fake wood grain on the outsides of linens. Also when screwing them together the screw went right through, split the inter frame "Pine" Total junk! However they don't sell this brand anymore but something tells me they were exclusively made for lowes? Also google Kraftmade reviews something must be going on over there, More for less?

On the DuPont kitchen gallery they show Burled Beach with a fairly similar wood.

Are you limited to DuPont or can you look at Cambria products? DuPont Corian seems a tad restricted.

Hi K,
Three colors from Corian that look great with Honey Spice are Sahara, Aurora, and Oat. All colors are warm but not too dark. This will give you a rich look and feel to your new kitchen cabinetry!

I like the Witch Hazel but you need to see these in person to see how they really look. Burled Beach might be another option. I really like both of these and this design style rathe than the more dot-like ones.

I just posted my finished Honey Spice galley kitchen with an awkward window. Although I ended up with Caesarstone, I considered Tarragon and Green Tea in Corian and Magellan Green in Zodiaq (DuPont quartz). I was set on a sage-y green color pallet and love the look. I highly recommend ordering samples - in every case, the sample differed from the website.

I like Sandalwood and Burled Beach, which are both pretty neutral. Among ones with more color, I like Jasmine (light green), and Rosemary (which is a bit darker).
